Jill Bedgood: Cantos of Light
Rudolph Blume Fine Art / ArtScan Gallery is proud to present a solo exhibition in the South and Middle Gallery spaces with Jill Bedgood’s artistic works. This exhibition titled, “Cantos of Light”, will feature hydrocal castings focusing on preserving the past - as memories you can physically hold. Bedgood explores what a memory could be; a book holds stories or mementos of history. Bedgood’s books could be experienced as solid representations of specific times in one’s life.

Michael Henderson: Passage
Michael Henderson’s solo exhibition at Rudolph Blume Fine Art / ArtScan Gallery will be set inside the North and Back Gallery spaces. “Passage” includes work from different eras in Henderson’s life: video, drawings and paintings. Exploring time and loops in time, Henderson approaches his work with a bit of humor while showcasing his “Tunnel” series. These tunnel paintings were inspired by a King Kong movie and have, over time, developed into cartoon-like representations. Tunnels have been used as potent icons of passage ways from one world into the next or to symbolize access to our own dark subconscious. Henderson uses these concentric circle-type shapes to explore space and color. Henderson’s videos also include loops in time, similar to a never-ending tunnel.
